HEALTH & SAFETY LITERACY MISSION
The mission of the Health and Safety Literacy Initiative is to provide
lessons on important health and safety topics for use in the classroom and
in the home setting by emerging English readers and speakers. Health
Literacy is the ability to read, understand and use basic medical
instructions and information.
