A school with a Title I Targeted Assistance program, which is primarily addressed in section 1115 of Title I, Part A, is one that receives Part A funds, yet is ineligible or has chosen not to operate a Title I school-wide program. Academic support and services are provided to a select group of students identified as failing – or at most risk of failing – to meet the State's challenging content and student performance standards in reading and math.
ESEA for LEAs
To assist schools with effectively developing, implementing, and evaluating their Title I Targeted Assistance Program, the Title I Department of the Academic Achievement Division of the ADE has developed the ESEA for LEAs training program.
Below are the workbooks, documents, and visual presentations from the Arizona Department of Education's ESEA for LEA professional development training. You may use pages from the workbooks to meet the criteria for items under cycle monitoring inside ALEAT.
