| MISSION STATEMENT | | Presidio School, a college preparatory school, offers a challenging classical education where artistic, literary and scientific coursework are all meaningful parts of the core curriculum. Presidio offers an educational model in which the arts support and stimulate learning in other domains such as math, science and reading – which in turn, support and stimulate learning and valuation of the arts. To further enhance the personal development and academic success of each student, instruction is presented in a setting where it is the goal of all faculty and staff to nurture and support every student’s journey towards academic excellence. Students are taught the value of respect, responsibility, and diversity. The “Presidio Family” encourages independence of thought and deed, while teaching the need for self-imposed limits so as not to infringe upon the rights and freedoms of others. |
