| MISSION STATEMENT | | The Shelby Schools mission is to increase the academic achievement of children using a total developmental perspective which considers a childs needs in physical development, cognitive development, and social-emotional development. This mission is achieved with four main ingredients: a cognitive developmentally based curriculum, the emotional and social development of students, an arts education emphasis, and parent communication and involvement. |
