| MISSION STATEMENT | | Sky Islands Public High School was established in 2008 in Tucson to provide an integrated, environmentally-focused, and academically rigorous course of study in grades 9-12. We are preparing students to live more sustainably and to be college and career ready by integrating a strong academic course of study throughout the program. Courses are aligned to AZ standards and promote mastery of essential skills in college-preparatory academics. We provide real tasks for students learning, and an active faculty advising program that works to support individual performance. |
