Assistive Technology
Tech for Learning Training with the TLC
Tech for Learning is a series of five, two-day workshops designed to increase knowledge and skills in critical areas related to effective and efficient selection, acquisition, and use of assistive and universally designed technologies with students with disabilities. Materials including various item catalogs, copies of researched practices, and an AT Toolkit are also provided at each training. Sessions are presented by nationally recognized leaders in the field.
Districts are encouraged to enroll Tech for Learning Community (TLC) teams who commit to attending the entire series as a team. TLC teams are able to extend their learning to application and system change levels through intensive, individualized collaboration and capacity-building support provided by ADE AT Specialists throughout the year.
Each of the separate workshops in this series is also open to individuals who wish to attend.
