2012 Phase I AZ Mathematics Common Core Standards | 1-Day Teacher Training
The one-day conference will provide training and tools for county, district, and school teams of teacher leaders to implement Arizona’s Common Core Standards in Mathematics. This training may be presented in grade level bands (K-2, 3-5, 6-8, and High school) or as a K-12 session.
A variety of activities will be offered focusing on building awareness and knowledge of the new standards:
Navigating the new standards
Unwrapping the big ideas of the standards
Crosswalking the old standard with the new standards
Considering implications of implementing the new standards including pacing
Digging deeper into the content of the new standards
Please inform your Business Office of your registration promptly. A registration fee is charged for all registrants, including those who do NOT SHOW and have not canceled in writing 10 days prior to event start date. All cancellations must be received in writing 10 days prior to the first day of the workshop for a full refund
