Phase II ACCS – Mathematics Administrator Training, 2-Day
The two-day workshop will provide training and tools for county, district, and school leaders to implement Arizona’s Common Core Standards in Mathematics.
A variety of activities will be offered focusing on developing expertise of classroom expectations and leadership strategies:
Reflect on their progress toward year two and three timeline and expectations
Investigate the PARCC assessment prototypes and the implications for instruction
Use the EQuIP Rubric to evaluate lesson plans and discuss the implications for PD and PLCs
Use the decision-making matrix to guide the development of a school plan for ACCS implementation
