TBI 303: Contemporary Issues in Brain Injury and Neurological Impairments
This 4-part workshop will include three 90-minute presentations from agency professionals who will focus on (1) Assessing Executive Functioning, (2) TBI Youth. Depression and Suicide, (3) Secondary Transition: From School to Adult Services within Vocational Rehabilitation. In addition, this workshop will offer a 2-hour session for Assistive Technology after Cognitive Impairment complete with hands-on activities. The format for the sessions will be short-format lecture with open discussion, ongoing question and answer sessions throughout, and an interactive lab featuring brain-injury specific AT materials, software, and equipment. All materials for this training will be provided. There is NO COST for the workshop; however, you must be pre-registered and you must have taken TBI 101 prior to this workshop.  

Who Should Attend: Administrators; Directors of Special Education; Secondary and Elementary Principals; School Nurses; School Counselors; School Psychologists; Regular and Special Education Teachers; Speech/Language Pathologists; Occupational and Physical Therapists; Interested Community Members; Other Agencies working with Children; and Parents.
