Growing Leaders Connecting Instruction, Assessment, and Evaluation (Three-day Event)
Growing Leaders- Connecting instruction, assessment, and evaluation: Participants will explore, process, and synthesize the connections among instruction, assessment, and evaluation to create, analyze and/or enhance school/LEA action plans. The three day institute will provide instructional leaders an opportunity to work with other leaders and/or school teams to examine what classrooms look, sound, and feel like for college and career ready students.

This unique format includes whole group instruction, small group discussion, tasks and topic-specific breakout sessions facilitated by a cross-agency team from the Arizona Department of Education. Participants will customize their learning experience in an environment of productive struggle, to evaluate current practices and guide future decisions.

Intended Audience: leadership teams, superintendents, principals, LEA leadership, and district leadership. *Teams are highly encouraged to attend together.

All three days are required:
Tuesday, February 10, 2015
Wednesday, February 11, 2015
Thursday, February 12, 2015


Registration Fee: $50.00 (Covers all three days)

To enroll in this innovative institute, please register prior to December 15th to secure your spot. Space is limited!

Participants will be eligible for 20 hours of Professional Development credit.

Check-in begins at 8:00 a.m.
Workshop: 8:30 am - 4:00 pm

This training is located at 1535 West Jefferson, Phoenix, AZ Room 311

Please note: All conference attendees are required to park on the roof of the garage.

No food or beverages will be provided, so please plan accordingly.

PO numbers are not required in order to complete registration.

Cancellation must be received in writing a minimum of 10 business days prior to the event. After that date, you will be responsible for payment in full.

Please inform your Business Office of your registration promptly. A confirmation number may be required on the day of the event and should also be included on your purchase order. A registration fee is charged for all registrants, including those who do NOT SHOW and have not canceled in writing within 10 business days prior to event start date. All cancellations and or replacements must be received in writing within 10 business days prior to the first day of the workshop for a refund. *Exceptions may be made for emergency situations only up to the first day of event start date.

*At the discretion of Arizona Department of Education staff, 'emergency situations' are defined as: Illness, accident, etc.
