To support school improvement efforts within our state, the Department of Education is referencing existing resources and technical assistance within the parameters of these four standards.

Standard One. School and District Leadership
	The district and school leadership focus on improved student achievement.

Standard Two. Curriculum, Instruction, and Professional Development
	Rigorous curriculum and instruction provide all students the opportunity to meet or exceed Arizona Academic Standards.
