The following blueprints have been modified primarily in format but also to reflect the changes in numbers of short answer questions. High School AIMS Reading and Mathematics will have no short answers (there will be multiple choice questions only), and Grades 3, 5, and 8 AIMS Reading and Mathematics have had the number of short answers reduced. The numbers of short answer questions in Grades 3, 5, 8 and High School AIMS Writing have not changed.

• The Writing Blueprint involves the response to a single prompt at each grade level. The six trait writing rubric is used for scoring.
