CHAR 55-1 Information
|
The CHAR 55-1 report lists basic calculations for equalization assistance for
State Board of Education and State Board for Charter Schools sponsored Charter
Schools. Listed in the report are the student counts needed to calculate
equalization assistance. The report contains all the calculations of the base
support level, transportation support level, capital outlay revenue limit,
capital levy revenue limit, and additional capital assistance.

Below you can select your charter school’s report by month. Once you have
downloaded(do not view the report in your
browser and print from there) a report, you can print it using any text editor
or word processor. If your editor or word processor recognizes ASCII form feed
characters as page breaks, you can print these reports with the same pagination
as if they had been printed on the minicomputer at ADE. (Microsoft Word
recognizes form feed characters as page breaks.) Your page settings
should be:

legal size paper
|

landscape mode
|
|
a fixed-width font such as Courier New, 10 points or
less, rather than a proportional font. (That is because the reports were
originally designed to be printed on a line printer. If you use a proportional
font, items on the report will not line up properly.)

margins set to barest minimum
