| MISSION STATEMENT | | Park School provides a basic instructional program in grades 1-2, with full-day academic kindergarten. Instruction is provided in reading, phonics, writing, spelling, math, science and social studies. An integrated thematic approach centered around childrens literature is employed. Math is taught with manipulatives and emphasizes reasoning. Hands-on science and social studies units extend the reading and writing programs. |
