The Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) portion of the Child Nutrition system enables program participants and Arizona Department of Education (ADE) staff to administer CACFP through programs accessed over the Internet. Automating administration reduces paperwork, increases accuracy, and speeds up payments.
Program participants can use the Child Nutrition system to:

Request advance payments.
Submit claims for reimbursement.
ADE staff can use the Child Nutrition system to:
Approve or deny program applications.
Process advance payments.
Process claims and revisions.
Complete accounting functions.
Post payments and submit upload files to the State Treasury for disbursement to participants.
Administer holds or suspensions.
