| MISSION STATEMENT | | At San Luis Middle School, our mission is to provide all students with a superior education by including a rigorous, standards-based curriculum that meets individual needs. We pledge that each student will learn in a safe and caring environment that ensures development of lifelong learners and productive citizens.
To accomplish this, we will:
Prepare students for success in high school and beyond
Provide a caring nurturing environment in which all students can feel supported and safe emotionally, intellectually, and physically
Create an environment in which positive, person characteristics such as being committed, respectful, honest, courageous, trustworthy, and responsible are daily expectations
Use instructional strategies and activities that will challenge our students and focus on their individual strengths
Continue the partnership between parent, student, teacher, administrator, and community |
